Charitable Grants

Our grants are designed to help disabled people access transport and make the journeys they choose.

We proudly support individuals, families and communities through our Motability Scheme-Related Grants, Access to Mobility Grants and Grants to Charities and Organisations.

A Motability Foundation grant can make a real difference to a person’s ability to leave their home, go out when they want, access different places and see the people who matter most to them.

We’re committed to listening to our beneficiaries, understanding your needs and continually evolving the support that we offer.

How we can help

Scheme-Related Grant Programmes

Our Motability Scheme-Related Grant Programmes provide financial support to disabled people who want to join the Motability Scheme but who need help with the cost of Advance Payments and adaptations.

Access to Mobility Grant Programmes

Our Access to Mobility Grant Programmes provide financial help towards mobility support for disabled people, outside of the Motability Scheme.

Grants to Charities and Organisations

In 2022, we launched new grant programmes to provide even more support to other charities and organisations who provide transport, help people to access it, or research how to make transport accessible.

“Without the help of the grant, we couldn’t afford a specially adapted car. It really has made our wishes come true.”

“For the next three years, we can transport a passenger and their carer where they need to go.”
