Learning to drive has helped tremendously

Allison learnt to drive through Driving Lessons Grant.

She has an autoimmune disease that affects her bones, which causes daily chronic pain and on some days can be debilitating.

Allison enjoys watching movies and spending time with her family. 

Before learning to drive and leasing a car through the Motability Scheme, Allison had to rely on taxis, buses and the tube to get around.

“I have gained a new independence and the freedom to move around. Supermarket shopping and doctors’ appointments are a whole lot easier now.
