“I love working for an organisation where I can lead positive change that makes a direct difference to people’s lives. Over the last three years, we’ve listened to disabled people and their organisations and built a deeper understanding of the diverse challenges that many people face in getting around, and the life-changing difference that good transport solutions can make. We understand better how the Motability Scheme and our grants enable people to lead fuller lives and how to safeguard that for the future. But we have also learned how much more there is to do. I’m so excited that we’re now beginning to work with a much wider range of partners to ensure that disabled people aren’t left behind as transport changes, and that public transport and active travel become more inclusive too.”
