We are thrilled to announce that the Lifestyle Magazine has won the British Society of Magazine Editors (BSME) Diversity and Inclusion Award at the 2024 Talent Awards.
Judges commended the “engaging, thoughtful and inspiring content” delivered via the magazine, Lifestyle Pod and associated social media channels.
Celebrating editorial excellence and innovation
The BSME Talent Awards are an annual event that celebrates editorial excellence and innovation across digital and print publications in the UK.
Lifestyle beat off stiff competition from Vogue, BBC Good Food and Which?. Judges said: “The full editorial package – across all its platforms, with engaging, thoughtful, and inspiring content. Lifestyle is successful in its message and its reach. A triumph!”
“Accessibility is at the heart of everything we do”
Gail Rossiter, Motability Foundation’s Senior Press and PR Manager said: “Lifestyle is important to so many Motability Scheme customers, providing balanced, informative and topical news and features, in a way that is accessible and inclusive for everyone.
“The extension of the magazine with social channels and the podcast, then makes that content available to everyone.
“Accessibility is at the heart of everything we do, and we are thrilled that Lifestyle has won such a prestigious award, in such an important category.
“We couldn’t be prouder of the teams who work so hard on it at Wonderly, the Motability Foundation and Motability Operations.”
“We’re so proud”
Lifestyle editor Sophie-Marie Odum adds: “The success of Lifestyle is down to the team. We’ve put ourselves at the heart of the community to understand what really matters to our audience.
“We create content that celebrates, engages and champions our readership. This award is a testament to that and, as a team, we’re so proud of this achievement.”
